I'm new here, but seeing everyone's crafting blogs made me really want one!!!
so here goes....
right now i'm working on embroidering these cute litte Octopi.
They are free-handed using backstitch. they are dark blue, electric blue, and teal blue..at least that's what i call the colors. They are stitched on an off white burlap with a white stabilizer backing...i don't know what the stablizier is made of, i bought it at wal-mart and it was marked as discount materials, i expect cotton polyester blend.

i think i might stitch a few more octopi, using the same colors i have been using...maybe introducing another shade of blue...then i was thinking about using bright pinks, orange, reds, and yellows to decorate the actual octopi and maybe using the warm colors, with greens and purples to decorate the background....we'll see.
i'm hoping over this next break to have loads and loads of time!
